Spring Break is right around the corner and we are already catching some pretty nice Bull Redfish. Just off the Gulf Shores coastline, we have seen just enough bait fish to be able to draw in some pretty nice size Bullreds. The mild winter weather we are having is almost a precursor for the upcoming spring break.
Students from all over the country will arrive the first week of March, 2012 for their annual spring break from school. One of the most popular activities for families during this time is taking a deep sea fishing trip. Currently, we have plenty of availability, but that is changing fast. Customers from all over the country are beginning to plan and book their favorite fishing boat, Distraction Charters in Orange Beach.
We spoke with Captain Troy and he said things are looking good tourist wise and the phone is ringing. People are booking the 6 hour trip because they want a little more action than the 4 hour trolling trips offer. He believes people just want to hold a pole and do something exciting. Either way, the Alabama spring break is certainly gearing up for a great fishing season.
