This Mothers Day weekend fishing charter in Gulf Shores was absolutely amazing. The water has been calm now for about three days and the color is amazing. Emerald green waters and visibility of over 20 feet is why we like to fish in Alabama waters. This family from Montgomery drove all the way down to Orange Beach to experience some light tackle fishing with the Distraction Charter boat.
We headed offshore to one of our favorite fishing reefs. When we got there, there were no boat in sight and there were fish swimming on top of the water. Red Snappers swimming with their mouths open, looking for something to eat. To no surprise, we dropped our baits below the charter boat and you could watch the fish take your bait and hook themseleves. It was an awesome sight.
