The Amberjack bite was Red Hot today in Gulf Shores, Alabama. The season is closed, but these fish did not know it. We caught 9 big Amberjacks today on our fishing charter and nobody had any strength to reel in any Red Snappers. We headed offshore and rode for over 30 miles to our honey holes. Our guest wanted to catch something big and did not want to hook a shark. The biggest fish we have for day fishing charters are Amberjacks. These magnificent fish weigh between 28 to 50 pounds on average. Some weigh as much as 115 pounds, but they are mostly caught way offshore near the oil rigs off of Louisiana. Today's fishin charter was amazing. We had Rick, Ron and Kurt aboard and we had a blast.
